Quilts of Valor

Quilt Presentation

 

 

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand a flag line for Quilts of Valor.

 

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

 

2LT George F. Heiner served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from 1967 to ‘68.  2LT George F. Heiner was a Platoon Leader and Infantryman and was in charge of 53 brave service members. 2LT George F. Heiner was tasked to train the Royal Thai Army in the Mekong Delta and was also active in the third wave of the Tet Offensive. 2LT George F. Heiner is a Bronze Star recipient.

 

This will be a HOTH format. The presentation will take place in Ogden at 01:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2019. We will stand a flag line at his home for the quilt presentation.

Staging: 11:45 AM at Shell Station, 495 E 40th St, Ogden.

KSU: 12:15 PM

 

Weather: Mostly cloudy with a high of 42. Please dress accordingly and keep yourself hydrated.
