The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to provide an escort for CPL Sidney Walton.


CPL Sidney Walton served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Born 2/11/1919 in NYC, Sidney joined the Army at 21 to fight Hitler.  Serving all five years of the War, he rose to the rank of Corporal in the CBI Theater (China, Burma and India), 34th Infantry, 8th Division.


This will be a HOTH format. The escort will begin in Sugarhouse at 10:15 AM on Tuesday, June 02, 2020. We will escort CPL Sidney Walton from his hotel to the State Capital, where he will meet with Governor Herbert.

Staging: 9:30 AM at Chevron, 2110 S 1300 E, Salt Lake City.

KSU: 10:00 AM


Weather: Mostly cloudy with a high of 85. Please dress accordingly and keep yourself hydrated.
